I know, it's only Tuesday. But I'm leaving early Thursday for my weekend plans and I'm psyched! Headed to West by god Virginia for the 3 jam-packed days of music at the All Good music festival. WOO HOO!! After I'd already decided to go and got a ticket, they added one of my favorite power-pop bands to the lineup: Hobex. They rarely play outside North Carolina, so this is my first opportunity to see them and I can't wait. Gotta pace myself though, they take the stage from 1am to 3am Thursday . I've caught Galactic and North Mississippi Allstars here in Cols very recently and am looking forward to seeing them again, especially as I missed the first set of the NMAS as I was at the Newport seeing Medeski Martin & Wood. Umphrey's McGee hits the Newport Friday on their way to WV and I highly recommend that show.

* Duffy (OH Columbus) and Tankboy (Lost in Guyville) are teaming up to put on a show at Woody's in the Ohio Union. On the bill are Woolworthy (Chicago) and The Stepford Five (Columbus). I'm sure we'll be getting more info on this soon.
* Adrian Crowley (Irish singer-songwriter that sounds a bit like Nick Drake) will be at Andyman's Treehouse.

Saturday:
* Andyman-a-thon for the Townsmen and The Honey's
* The Factory for Moviola and The Fruit Bats

Sunday:
* After going out two nights in a row, I'm doing whatever the wife wants me to do on Sunday

thursday: play cincinnatti
friday: play bloomington
saturday: play columbus IN
sunday: return, fix whatever went wrong with the van, and sleep.

Friday: Play with the kids, recover from Dick Dale and probably the matrix thursday night.

Saturday: Andyman's show to hopefully see the sun (keeping fingers crossed they'll play before 10 even though i know it won't happen) and also looking forward to seeing some other locals i haven't caught before.

Then over to Skully's to catch Bush League All Stars at the Cringe release show.

Sunday: Maybe take the kids to the zoo.
