On Friday, April 25, 2003, Ohio State University’s Activities Board, Student Advocacy Center, & Undergraduate Student Government along with the Jeremy Richter Effort are hosting a multiple band concert at Woody’s Place (1739 N High St, Columbus) to benefit the Fire Victims’ Assistance Fund.
The bill boasts of nine Central Ohio bands, all of which have cut their teeth performing in the venues that line Ohio State’s campus. With genre’s ranging from acoustic to pop to rock, each act has agreed to donate all of the night’s earnings to the cause. The bands – including some not performing – are expected to donate merchandise to be raffled during the night’s sets. Doors are at 7pm, cover is set at $5.
