OK, ladies and gents, my new album entitled The Easy Days is now available
for FREE download into all your various MP3 devices and whatnot.
they are in MP3 format and they are iTunes/CDDB tagged for your convenience.
just make with the clicky on the song titles to download them.
the rest of the site is not fully functional yet, but will be soon.

thanks & enjoy!

eric

This is good stuff; pretty sure I'll be listening to it a lot this summer. Did you record all this in a home studio?

yes, it was all done in my little basement studio. no mastering.
i play all the parts as well. i guess there's not very much info on the site.
i'm going to be updating it quite frequently with more songs & stuff.

thanks for asking & thanks to Robert for giving me a little plug.

hey thanks everybody. you are all too kind.
i've just put up some new updates (!) with more MP3's; lots of rare
stuff that has been long out of print vinyl only, so that's kinda nice.
if anyone wants to get any of the eric Metronome hard copy cds/cdrs
they can email me and i'll get right on it.

eric@ericMetronome.com

thanks again & enjoy.

JEEZ-us, this stuff is great! I'm seconding the wishes for a box-set collection of the past Metronome catalog!

Listening to the Eric Metronome box set A particular favorite is the cover of Avril's "Complicated" as sung by Eric's step-daughter Phoenix.

yes, eric.
i think you need to put up an MP3 for that Avril cover for sure.
it's super!
you have stuff on your site that i've never even seen/heard before....and i live with you. that's just crazy.
and i know what you've got up is only a portion of stuff that you've done.
you are amazing
:D

i'll definitley have the Avril song up soon - with permission of the
other artist involved...as far as a 'real' box set, i doubt that i will
make physical copies of it. but it might be available on the site at
some point. it would be about 10 full cds of unreleased songs and
3 or 4 full of covers.

i am going to be switching out & changing the MP3's at random times
so download them while you can! :) i'll leave my new album up for
at least a few months though.

thanks again for checking it out, and thanks to Robert for helping me
get the word to so many people. DW rules!

hey friends,

i just wanted to let everyone know, i got a link on the sweetadeline
website (the official Elliott Smith website) for the tribute album i did.
it's kind of a big deal for me just because i go to that site almost everyday
and have for years. really sweet of Charlie to link me. check it:

http://www.sweetadeline.net/

also, an Elliott fan from Ireland emailed me today about the tribute so that
was really suprising & nice.

thanks

eric
