Heya! We (the Columbus Music Co-op) are excited to partner with GROOVE U and Abell Audio for a new workshop for musicians at GROOVE U! All the info is below. Please register early as space is way more limited for this one than previous classes! (Also, we are super lucky to have the super knowledgeable Harold LaRue leading this session!)
This workshop will provide the working musician with the tools and skills necessary to create, test, and repair professional-quality audio cables. Attendees will have the option to construct either a balanced XLR microphone cable or an unbalanced 1/4" instrument cable.
A deeply-discounted, materials fee of $25.00 is required for those who wish to participate in this hands-on, cable-construction workshop. Attendees will also receive a temperature-controlled soldering station and premium components courtesy of Abell Audio. A comprehensive handout will also accompany the presentation to serve as a valuable technical reference.
