This Friday, April 23 come out to Skully's Music Diner and help the Alive celebrate the release of its sixth annual Local Music Guide. Playing will be Denovo, Cheater Slicks, The Evil Queens and Grafton. Music starts around 9:30 and the best part is that it's all free! No cover! And don't forget to pick up the Local Music Guide when it hits the streets this Wednesday!

hey, that's a cute flyer. look for the guide around town tomorrow evening - though there's a minimum amount of artwork inside - and hit the show on friday. show up early because there are about 200 give-away t-shirts - and these ain't no one-sizs-fits-all bullshit - with the pedal design.

i think it's a "metal zone" pedal.

Mike are you responsible for the pedals? Are you the proud owner of a Metal Zone? If not, you probably should be.

it is actually the hyper fuzz. it is a horrible, horrible pedal for guitar, but works nice with other electronics... let's just pretend it's a delay.

I missed Denovo, but heard great things. I missed most of Cheater Slicks, and heard bad things.

However, from now on, when it comes to discussing the Evil Queens, one must use Font Size Huge because that is the size of their rock. Holy fuck, those guys brought it to Skully's last night!

I only caught Denovo, but digged 'em. I felt bad for the bass player when his equipment zonked out, but it was a nice recovery.

On behalf of The Evil Queens thank you, everyone, for coming. We had a fricking blast and a half. Also, I have to say it was very cool to meet so many of you in person at long last.
