Sriracha syrup! Holy cow. Is that vegan? If so, what sort of sorbet do you think it would be good on?
i've thought about this for a couple of days.
i'm pretty sure i have the best answer:
lime with ginger & a little cardamom.
and just use which-ever brand of sriracha she prefers, you'd know it was vegan then, and just reduce it by about a third (i'm guessing.) still haven't done it, but that's my plan. i figure it's already thick enough that you wouldn't need to reduce it any further than that. let it cool to room temp or cooler, and piping bag in a swirl of it as you pack it.
serve it with a sprig of cilantro. (or 5)
and if you don't try this, i'm gonna have to. the more i type about it the more awesome it sounds.
