Before the show, I was joking with my friends and asked if there was some kind of Bob Barker brake on the wheel. I didn't notice any cheating until the Alison spin, but Elvis copped to it immediately.

I'd just like to publicly apologize to the guy that ended up wearing an entire 32 oz. Bud Light that had previously been in my hand. Triumphantly hoisting that vessel in a throng of exuberant Costello fans was not the smartest decision I ever made.

The first time I caught Costello was on the original wheel spinning tour when I was a kid. He's by far the most talented performer I've ever seen. Every time I see him, this belief of mine is reaffirmed.

This was an awesome show. I've wanted to see him since I was a kid and he did not disappoint.

apparently he's become quite a fan of clever crow pizza while in town . . .

dunno, he got it from the north market location. i just heard about it later.

i'm coincidentally watching elvis on "tomorrow with tom snyder" from about 80/81 right now.
