CMC throws the best parties.

I passed the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile on US30 coming in, a fitting prelude, I thought. Arrived just before the Turks went on. Not telling you where I parked!

Turks were good, which I expected. It was cool that Eric ran across the alley mid-song to greet the "crusty punks" along the post office wall. I didn't realize until they were done that about half the people in the whole place were Turks fans, who left after their set. Turks all looked like they hadda bucket o' water dumped on them by the end.

Scrawl was awesome, they didn't seem to miss anything from however many years it's been since they quit. Jovan = da man, seriously. Couldn't have been that many practices to learn all those songs.

Great great show.

Great sound? Nope. Great sightlines? Nope.

But that didn't matter. Great vibe all around. Great price (free or $5? crazy!). Great drinks (for me I'm talking about the near endless supply of free Vitamin water). Great location. Great weather. Great glimpses of (now) greyed hair old farts and of crushes that I realize will last my entire life. Great songs that I will never get tired of hearing.
