I might be. Does anyone know if it's sold out or if you can get tickets at the door?

I could do without hearing the theme song from the OC.... plus I have someting going on that night, but have fun.

If Diet were playing anywhere but High 5 on Saturday, I'd be at their show (I've been wanting to check them out for some time now). But since they are playing at High 5, I'll be at Promo West in the shadow of the great and mighty Duffinator (though I'm having a hard time ignoring the fact that Earwig is playing with the Damnwells at Bourbon St. that night).

well i was worried about getting out of the promowest show in time for renaissance doves at bourbon street, but if the cd101 show is really going to be over by midnight i guess that won't be a problem. I'll probably be there for at least the thrills and phantom planet

What?! How many people are on the Bourbon Street bill? I thought the line up was: Earwig, Bush League All Stars & Marvin the Robot, The Damnwells.

The Renaissance Doves are playing too? What is this, Night of a Billion Performances? My head's going to explode trying to make decisions.

Bush league all stars have been transmorgified into the renaissance doves. still 4 bands. there's a thread in the hype folder with estimated band times.

Still too many good bands playing on one night for my feeble brain to make a solid decision.

Duffy, when are you going to put up a Columbus Shows Calendar so this doesn't keep happening?

Too many good shows each night is the way Columbus ought to be.

I'd like to be there too, but alas...

If this show is over early enough you can still get to BOurbon Street and catch the Ren.Doves (a band that was Bush League All Stars , now with the same line up as original Greenhorn) and maybe the better half of the Damnwells set.

Duffy,

I will be going to the show. I've been looking forward to it for a while. I like the new Phantom Planet album a lot and am curious how they do some of those songs live. I saw them in Pomona, CA in 2000 and they sounded pretty good.

I like what I've heard from the Thrills (which isn't much).

Should be a good time.

John

I'll be there, toting around one (or more) of those giant cups of beer.

I'll be there, although I'm not sure how I feel about the show. I typically can't take more than four hours of standing around.

Word on the street is, the show is VERY close to selling out. Keep in mind, it is an indoor event so there is no chance of them releasing more tickets. Once they're gone, they're gone. As of this afternoon there were about 200 left. I assume the number has gone down since then...get 'em while the gettin' is good!
