One more thing, the Entertainment Committee meetings are open to anyone up until we actually start selection. I strongly encourage new members. Next meeting is March 2nd, at the shelterhouse in Goodale Park at 7:30. It should be no suprise that there will be some cross over between promoters and comfest. Some people have been around a long time and columbus is a small town.

Sucking up to Mark and playing some particular bars are all part of the game. So not such a big deal.

the whole comfest/distance thing still hurts my brain.

as somebody who has been involved in almost every aspect of comfest over the past 15 years (vendor, volunteer, performer, emcee, etc) there isn't a single line in that e-mail that ISN'T fucking offensive.

pulling him off committee & telling old boy "maybe next year" really would be the best way to save face. that shit's just tacky in every way possible. and it IS going to be fodder for those who feel comfest is all "who you know"
