so, there's a guy from portland making gourmet pizzas out of the kitchen at circus now.

amazing cornmeal crust. tastes like nothing else in town.

you can get slices, half pies or whole pies.

less than 10 types of pie listed right now, and a dessert tart (pumpkin with choc-ganache!!!)
2 types of vegan pie on the menu, both delicious.

my fav so far: balsamic onion, sweetcorn (like a fucking LAYER of sweetcorn), fennel sausage (1/2 pound o'sausage per pie!)

check this shit out. it's SO worth it.

i hate pep, so i can't comment on the more traditional things, but all 5 of the oddball ones i've had so far have been fucking amazing.

yeah, i like gary a lot, and i'm all about his pies.
i've been preaching his gospel and forcing slices on people for a week or so now.

we haven't had much time to have long chats yet, but everytime i see him my "good dude" spidey-sense goes off . . .

i'm gonna spend way too much money in way too short a time, i just know it. i'ts just like mr. peeper's and bono pizza, i gotta get in as much of it as i can while i can!

What are the hours for the pizza at Circus?

i believe 3 to 10 for full menu, and then slices of cheese or pep after 10 while they last.

but i could be totally wrong.

and i haven't heard about take'n'bakes, but god i hope so, the crust just kills me!

the vegan i had last night had really nice tofu-ricotta and some amazing eggplant . . .
but the sausage on the crow pie was just fucking perfect, even hours later!

this Circus Pizza sounds interesting.

OH MAN MY LIFE. Stuffing my face with Clever Crow homemade sausage right now. 4.5 outta 5 stars. Crust is ABSOLUTELY amazing. Y'all need to give these peeps yr money ASAP. Only (very minor) "criticisms" 1. maybe could expand the variety of toppings a bit 2. toppings were a touch heavy relative to sauce. I'd prefer a little more sauce- ymmv.

Might be the best pizza crust I've ever had. Perfect.

I won't believe any of this until Mike Hinze and David Trenoff offer their takes on this seemingly expensive, fancypants pie.

dunno, today was just the "scenes of the crowd enjoying the food" bits.

Tried Crow today. Straight up ignorant. Grape and Brie is nuts but Crow style is retardo. Didn't try it with sausge but next time, it's on.

cuz when we rolled up there at quarter-to-7 last nite, my bono plans quickly became a nice mama mimi's pesto pizza. damn fine, but no bono.
