I hear Wussy covered "Runaway" at the Treehouse, recently. I would've liked to see that. Still working on getting Jenny to play a show, this year. She has a public service announcement: "DO NOT BUY STACK. It makes Steel Reserve look like candy. If you drink a Stack, you're going to be giving a 'lead' at a meeting soon. You do not want to drink this shit!"

I'm saying she didn't fucking "retire." My grandfather retired. Jenny Mae fell apart. You know, the minute Bela started this thread/blog I knew it was just a matter of time until somebody announced that Jenny Mae was playing a show.
Oh, sorry, coming out of retirement.
How does anyone read the blog, or the article in the paper, and possibly think it's a good idea to push her onto a stage again? So, what, she can be the local romantic figure of some tragic, cracked genius who just flew a little too close to the sun?
It's a pretty fucking morbid exercise if you ask me.

That's quite a presumptuous, misguided view, Zeppo. It's offensive that you would assume my relationship with Jenny is based on someone else's blog or newspaper article or that I would push her unwillingly out on a stage for some sort of inevitable collapse. That takes some real chutzpah.
