Bill Callahan (SMOG) in-store at Used Kids

Used Kids is having a Bill Callahan (artist formerly known as SMOG) release show for his new album, Sometimes I Wish I Were An Eagle, on Monday April 13th at 7pm.

The show will feature a solo set by Bill Callahan.

The show will start 7pm sharp-ish, so get there a little early, and it'll go until he disappears.

The new album will be available.

He's real good so you should show up.

As great as the in-store was - and it was hella great - i'm digging the album even more. These arrangements are a near-perfect match to his vocals. Picked up the needle several times to listen to "Jim Cain" on repeat. Strong contender for album of the year.

Yes, this was swell. I've never heard a dirty Easter joke before. I saw some guy give Bill Callahan his demo (comedy gold!). It really did look like there were a lot of burglars in the audience.
