i'm looking forward to trying that Great Lakes xmas ale. sounds good.

some recent pints for me include Anchor Christmas Ale, Avery Czar imperial stout, Alesmith Winter Yulesmith and Ballast Point Sculpin IPA.

the place next to udf on hudson, 14-0 is what it's called if i do recall has a selection that rivals viking and i just found this out over the weekend

where else are good beer stores hiding

the drive thru on w.3rd in harrison village has a decent selection too

Leinenkugel's creamy dark lager. First impression good, seems to have almost a root beer flavor to it.

I've been drinking a lot of the new (old) Schlitz beer (available at Weilands and Giant Beagle in Clintonville). I'm really digging it for a working-class American beer (although it's a bit pricey for that realm at $5.99 a six).

Oh and Knob Creek. It's bourbon weather.

Went for some hop bombs this holiday weekend. Had Ballast Point Dorado Double IPA, Pizza Port Third Anniversary Imperial IPA, Russian River Pliny the Elder double IPA, San Diego Brewing Co. Hopnotic double IPA, Green Flash West Coast IPA and Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere wet hop ale. Enjoyed every one of them.
