i saw chris bailey + whoever he had playing with him as the "saints" back in the late 80s -- and they were okay, but not great. nothing like the original line up with ed kuepper from the late 70s.

my personal favorite is "prehistoric sounds," but all three of those early records (including "i'm stranded" and "eternally yours") are great. for more info on saints history, see -- http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/music_spe ... 402503.htm

anyhow, i wouldn't expect much from this show -- especially at bernie's. and anyone looking to find out more on mr kuepper should check into his post-saints band laughing clowns + his solo releases.
