They've had showers since 2005. They cost $10

I couldn't find them in 05...couldn't find them in 06 either. Possibly more this year because of the sponsorship?

Why do you need a shower? Your at bonnaroo, ur supposed to be dirty like the other hippies. I would hate for there to be a dirty hipster at the roo. It would be tragic

We bring our own camp shower anyway. It's free and it certainly makes for a better couple hours of sleep after a long day in the sun.

Yes because at the end of the day its refreshing to rinse off the dirt and sweat. Personally it gives me a nice boost of energy. I am not so concerned with what I am "supposed" to do.

They will be having a "New York Style" jazz club in a air conditioned tent. There will be a bar and table service if you want it. Pretty cool idea...this is the 2nd themed tent, the other is the Yard Dogs cabaret / vaudeville circus perform tent place. The lineup for the jazz tent is:

SOMETHIN’ ELSE 2007 LINE-UP:

SCOTT AMENDOLA BAND FEAT. NELS CLINE
DON BYRON PLAYS JUNIOR WALKER FEAT. CHRIS THOMAS KING
RAVI COLTRANE QUARTET
LOU DONALDSON & DR. LONNIE SMITH QUARTET
ROBERT GLASPER TRIO
STEFON HARRIS & BLACKOUT
LIONEL LOUEKE
MAGO FEAT. BILLY MARTIN & JOHN MEDESKI
STANTON MOORE TRIO
DAVID MURRAY QUARTET
THE PHILADELPHIA EXPERIMENT
JACKY TERRASSON TRIO
DOUG WAMBLE QUARTET

woot, just got my tickets today! I suspect this will be a 3 way tie for the best time of my life. Tied with the other 2 trips to roo of coarse. If you don't go you'll never know.

I enjoy the lack of sponsorship at this fest (no AT&T stage etc etc) but I think its funny how they make up tents to get some money. This one seems like a bit much

"If you’re looking for a new look, there is no better place to be then the Salon. With our friends at Garnier Fructis, we’ve created a Salon where you can relax, get your hair styled, and pick up free samples of Garnier Fructis products. Who said you can’t look good at Bonnaroo!"

Any donewaiting-ers going to be staying in the camping only area? If you are we should camp next to each other or somethin.

I'm only staying in that area if I have to park far away. 3 out of 5 festivals so far, we've been able to see the main stage from our camp.

John Paul Jones will be jamming with ?uestlove. AWESOME

Just Announced: SuperJam feat. John Paul Jones, Ben Harper and Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson

Bonnaroo continues an annual tradition with an all-star SuperJam, starting at midnight on Friday, June 15. Former Led Zeppelin bass player JOHN PAUL JONES will anchor a trio featuring one of music's most innovative modern bluesmen, guitar wizard BEN HARPER, and Roots drummer AHMIR "?UESTLOVE" THOMPSON. The SuperJam is one of the most highly anticipated features of the festival, combining the talents of a diverse set of musicians for a one-time-only collaborative performance. Past participants have included Stewart Copeland, Herbie Hancock, Dr. John, Trey Anastasio, and many other musicians of the highest caliber - and if history is any indication, expect special guests to join the fun.

Since the break-up of Led Zeppelin in 1980, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jones has worked with bands including R.E.M. and the Foo Fighters. Harper's last album, "Both Sides of the Gun," debuted at Number Seven on the Billboard charts; Rolling Stone has called him a "natural-born superstar." In addition to his role as the heartbeat of hip-hop trailblazers the Roots, Thompson has played with and produced such artists as D'Angelo and Fiona Apple; at Bonnaroo, he will also be performing with his jazz-oriented group, The Philadelphia Experiment.

I saw that show at the Wexner that was The John Paul Jones, Diamonda Galas show, way better than the Page/Plant show I saw around the same time. I also saw JPJ open for King Crimson at Promowest, amazing.

John Paul Jones was Zep' secret weapon
