Praised by Phil Lesh, of The Grateful Dead, as one of the “great guitarists of his generation,” the former Whiskeytown frontman is a poetic writer whose songs of love and loss have garnered him devoted fans around the world. In addition to joining Lesh in a few versions of Phil Lesh and Friends over the last two years, ADAMS has recorded or performed with Gillian Welch, Emmylou Harris, Kim Ritchey, Willie Nelson, Toots & the Maytals, and Elton John among others.
At just 31, the Grammy Award Nominee has already been going strong for over a decade and shows no signs of slowing down. ADAMS released 8 full-length solo albums between 2000 and 2005 with his three latest albums, Cold Roses, Jacksonville City Nights and 29, all released between May and December of 2005 and in 2006 alone, he posted 11 new albums under the pseudonyms DJ Reggie, The Sh*t, and WereWolph on the Cardinal Radio section of his website.
