i thnk that a more apt comparison would be who here ever took a jackhammer and broke off a piece of curb, cause skating doesn't equate to actually vandalizing something in a destructive manner, at least not as long as you are careful.

and no, i don't skate.

if it is not vandalism why did it get me, chased by cops, my board taken by cops pushed down steps by buisness owners?

like i said, if it was destructive, then it is vandalism.

see here:

van·dal·ism (văn'dl-ĭz'm)
n.
Willful or malicious destruction of public or private property.

So if you weren't destroying anything in the process, you are ok.

I wish it were easier for people to use their brains. And amazingly I am not an English majjor, but I learned how to speak the fucking language. Crazy!

If you make a horrible record that, in my opinion, willfully and maliciously destroys music, is that vandalism?

music isn't a tangible object that can be destroyed, it is in the eye of the beholder.

so is art, but art that destroys something you don't own is not art anymore, it's a crime.

A more apt analogy would be whether smashing my record collection is vandalism. Hence, the word "property."

what part of "if you don't destroy something" aren't you getting. If your skating on the curb doesn't destroy it, then you are fine.

Better yet, what if I broke into your house and made disparaging remarks about the Black Keys?

what about tagging a wall destroys it?

when you grind curbs, it wears away the concrete and leaves wheel marks...

I'd congratulate you for making it all the way back to prepubescence.

I hate to break it to you kiddo, but you're going to have a hard time rattling me with that. Maybe once I stop getting carded it'll have a little more bite.

And even then, it still functions as a wall. It still holds things up. Maybe until you skate on a wall so much that it no longer could be defined as a wall.
That would take a while.
