[quote="unpossibles"]maybe this goes too far, but can one be a vegan and still swallow during oral sex? Technically, it's an animal product....[/quote

Yes. There are two partsto answer the question.

-Its about consent. Vegan's are allowed to swallow because it can be communicated that the swallowed wants to give the swallower the animal by product.

-There is usually discussion about vegan semen.
No one wants to get a steak mixed in with their sperm
If the semen is vegan, than its usually a go.

From my experience, vegan girls tend to swallow more often.
And I doubt its from the lack of protien.(just wanted to pre-empt that joke.

But those little spermatozoa are just slaves to the dude they're in! All they want to do is fertilize eggs and make babies! How dare you deny them!

I suppose you mean if the semen is from a vegan, right? I don't really know how you could get steak mixed in with sperm without some wacky kitchen hijinks.

Everyone knows it's because they're whores.

So I'm guessing it's never okay to eat meat, because even if you raise your own cow, give it lots of tender loving care and only the best grass and oats and whatnot, it will never be able to give you its consent that it wants to be eaten?

Oh holy cow....does that mean that vegans can be cannibals?? Is it just about the consent? What if Vegan A told Vegan B that Vegan A WANTED to be eaten?

Or would that still be out of the question because Vegan A is made of meat?

as we spiral into the absurd, what about scavenging already dead carcasses? seems like the environmentally sensitive thing to do, afterall.

Those are freegans.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freegan

And check this out, condoms aren't vegan.

Quote:
There would be no cow-free bondage gear for sale in Come As You Are were it not for Vegan Zero, an anonymous fellow who walked into said store late last year, inquiring about condoms devoid of dairy. Gill Lamon, a CAYA co-owner, dealt with Vegan Zero, and was surprised to learn -- as is everyone, quite frankly -- that condoms aren't cruelty-free. It turns out that not only lambskin (duh) but plain old latex is not vegan-friendly. Casien, a milk protein, is used to cure latex.

"I had no idea," admits Lamon, "so I went on-line and looked at a bunch of places that talked about vegan condoms, and I discovered that there was really only one supplier, and that's VeganErotica.com." Launched in 2001, the Utah-based Web site distributes the full range of Condomi brand condoms, including flavoured (sorry, no herb tofu or lentil), large, thin, and regular styles. (And no, don't worry, the spermicide isn't tested on animals). Based in Cologne, Germany, the Condomi company formed in early 1999 and quickly received the English Vegan Society's seal of approval, the equivalent of an Oscar in the world of cruelty-free products.

See? Being vegan sucks.

depends on the vegan.
but some vegans eat meat they find in the trash because they aren't contributing to the factory farm industry.

so yes technically you can be a vegan cannibal.

Mr. Furley showed up at a very inopportune moment, and Jack had to put it somewhere *fast*.

Please send a full report in on any homemade tamales you eat in Texas. Thanks.

My bff is vegan.. She is not preachy though.

She makes some of the besyt dishes. Her vegan southern style beans and "ham" is awesome with chicken fried eggplant. *edit* I have the recipes if anyone is interested.

You really have to be a chef wiz to do it. There is a cooking show on PBS called Christina Cooks, that has good Vegan recipes.

Exactly...like Erika Badu claims to be vegan but look what she has on her kneck.
If the dood at the fur store would've told her that full dead animals weren't vegan, she may have avoided this faux pas.

They have faux fox wraps.

well, if cows didn't want us to eat them, why don't they rise-up and revolt?

along the same lines, isn't a head of lettuce just as alive and unable to give permission as a cow? who is to say the plant life is not suffering slavery while being farmed and does not feel pain when harvested or eaten?

there are people who believe this, and eat nothing but fruit, nuts, and legumes - things that are plant products but don't kill the plant.

so - should we become cannibals? Or eat dogs and babies since they can't rise up? What other retarded arguments can be made?

Edit: oh yeah - I guess we could eat retarded people too.

But in theory aren't they killing a potential plant??? If the nuts and fruit and lugumes were allowed to fall to the ground, they would become plants right?
