This one is real, I'm pretty sure. According to an article today, the big hangup apparently was Apple wouldn't let Verizon install a bunch of Crapware on the phone. I'll be disappointed if Apple caved.

yeah, the announcement will be tomorrow, and the release will be thurs feb 3rd.
apple has blocked any retail staff from taking vacation days feb 3rd - 6th, and they usually release new products on a thurs.

but more importantly, when am i gonna get my hands on either the htc thunderbolt or the motoroloa droid bionic?
everything i saw from CES on those just made me fall in love!

a year ago i was dying for a verizon iphone, but now with those two androids on the horizon, i don't even think i care about the apple.

Was trying to hold out for this but my previous phone died months ago, so I ended up with a Droid Incredible which has actually been a pretty cool phone. Now I'm torn...the maniacal Apple fanboy me and the common sense me are gonna go wrestle now.
