anyone watch season 1? or the season 2 premiere last night? all you need to know is that jason schwartzman is a failing novelist and an "unlicensed" private detective with a craigslist ad. zach snuffalupagus is his fuckup best friend/comicbook artist. and ted danson plays the greatest role of his lifetime, as a gq-style magazine boss who mooches weed from everyone and wants to be included in EVERYthing. ("i want a colonic, too!) amazing guest stars (oliver platt, sarah vowell, conrad from weeds) and slowbuild dry comedy with perfectly delivered performaces have made watching all of season 1 this week in prep for the premiere last night the best tv i've watched all month. (well, the best non-animated tv, at least) |
