In a similar vein, don't stop walking on the sidewalk unless you get over to one side as far as possible. Don't stop in a crosswalk either. This sounds like common sense, but you'd be amazed by the number of people who just stop in the middle of the crosswalk and look around.

When crossing the street, it's best to move with the herd. If a whole herd thinks it can make it before the light turns green, go with them. If you're the only one who thinks he can make it, you'll get hit by a cab.

Take lots of pictures. This is completely acceptable. But don't get pissed if someone walks in front of your camera.

dayyumm, what a crazy weekend in the city.

srsly tho, my wife and I walked up 42nd street from 9th ave in Hell's Kitchen towards 6th ave at 7:00-7:30 and had no idea there was even a bomb found. Thats only like 3 blocks away and yet people were going about their business like nothing was happening. fucking crazy.

And, they found that dude with cyanide tablets on the subway. weirdo

maybe my anxiousness with so many questions that people found silly was a premonition of the future.

Hands down the greatest city I have ever been to.
