seems like you get the processing capabilities of the iPod Touch + Kindle-esque function.

If I wanted something that doesn't have a real OS or real computing power, i think i'd just get a Touch. And since I don't really have much interest in an e-reader, this thing isn't really doing it for me.

this would be sweet to have if I didn't already have a laptop and an iphone. I am still trying to figure out what I would use it for. I can already stream all my music and video from my cpu and my friends cpu's to my iphone so that pretty much covers the necessities of my life. I guess if I was in sales or a drug rep or something, I could take it to my appointments and shit. ::Anxiously waits to see someone jogging with their ipad:: hopefully they make a holster to fit around your arm.

kinda funny, if you do a search for "iPad" on ebay, you get about 700 hits for people selling various domain names and gmail addresses that somehow incorporate the iPad name. Oh entrepreneurship!
