I know it's cool to hate Jack, but I can't help but laugh out loud every time something makes him do the "are you kidding me?" laugh.

I rewatched "Flashes Before Your Eyes" because I am convinced that what is happening currently to our Losties happened to Desmond in season 3 when he turned the key (hydrogen bomb?) in the hatch. I thought it might be able to give me a sense of where the season will go.

I'm not completely convinced but I found one thing that really caught me off-guard. As you may remember from that episode, Desmond turns the key and then wakes up on the floor of his and Penny's apartment covered in red paint. He keeps getting little bits of deja vu until Eloise finds him later and blows his goddamn mind with a lesson on fate and destiny.

Anyways, Penny is helping Desmond with his tie in the mirror for his job interview with Widmore and she notices a small red paint spot on his neck, just like Jack in the mirror on the plane. Something like that couldn't be just coincidence...

At last, the triumphant return of Rob McElhenney!!!

In effort to see all the oscar nominated movies, I watched "A Serious Man" this past Weds. The term "dybbuk" was used in the opening sequence, so I decided to look it up. Wiki described "dybbuk" as a "malicious posessing spirit, believed to be the dislocated soul of a dead person." What a coincidence! So no, I was thinking more of a posession thing rather than impersonating.

so my current favorite theory is that the losties living in what's being called the "flash-sideways" are actually living in the world that's created when the temple-losties "fix" whatever it is they they eventually fix. the events going on in the temple-timeline are going to create the world we're seeing in the sideways timeline.

Does Shepherd refer to Jack or Christian (or possibly Claire or Aaron as they are from the same paternal bloodline)? I read that someone said the numbers correlate to their seat numbers on the original plane ride, and that in AlternaWorld, Jack switched from 23 to 24.
