i started re-watching the show from season one last week and i *just* watched the adam & eve ep and was whining to tom of lindsay how they never ever came back to those bodies...so keep proving me wrong lost!

did sideways jack still have time to go to thailand and get that bad tat or was he too busy being a dad?

I knew claire would axe the guy but my girlfriend was surprised. I don't know how you can be surprised that someone who makes a model of their baby out of bones is bat-shit crazy.

good episode i thought although the adam/eve thing felt like pandering to the fans and it's silly that jack/hurley wouldn't even look to see what name was #108 on the dial to find out who is supposedly coming.

the not looking at 108 bothered me too.

wasn't last night the 108th episode? (and on feb. 23 no less with an episode about jack?)

Are they scratched off because he's made contact with them? Perhaps the positions on the dial show him a location, Jacob gets a name, hunts them down, makes physical contact, says something ominous, returns and scratches off the name.

I believe some of the names on the wheel were unscratched.

I don't know what the fact that 108 was scratched off means. I have to assume desmond was a candidate at one point and maybe when he left the island he got crossed off but now he's coming back?

I assume desmond and widmore are the 2 leading prospects for who is coming to the island. although that doesn't explain why #108 says wallace.

i think 108 (and wallace) might not have anything to do with who is coming to the island. maybe it's the writers way of telling us (108, the sum of the numbers) that the numbers themselves are insignificant and/or don't expect any more "answers" about the numbers.

from what i gathered the whole point of the lighthouse trip wasn't to actually set the beacon, but to cause jack to see his house, and have his freak-out epiphany

this IS the final season, but there are a lot of episodes to go. i'm not holding my breath for answers in the first half a dozen episodes.

but if it's answers you demand, here are some examples of what they've already managed to answer so far:
Q: what happened to claire? A: she lived in the jungle and got all crazy.
Q: is crazy claire totally awesome? A: yes.
Q: does alternate reality jack have a son? A: yes.

see, they're giving us tons of answers. answers to questions we didn't care to ask.

here's what i want to know... does alternate reality jack still know where to score some oxy?
