I saw it Thursday night at the Gateway with Melissa Starker introducing it. I enjoyed it, but I couldn't see bringing a young kid to it. Hit-Girl seemed to be (cinema version) patterned after anime movies and a pint sized version of Kill Bill's Black Mamba Uma Thurman. More in common with Zombieland and Watchmen than the standard superhero movies and funnier and better than Mystery Men. Enjoyed seeing Nicolas Cage (even if a smaller role) back as nuttier/twisted character verses his action characters. Hey but he was action in this, so shouldn't disappoint those fans.

The movie was aptly named. Not sure what I was expecting, but I was a bit shocked in some places. Once I acclimated to how it was going to go down, it was a lot of fun.

finally saw it last night. i liked it a lot.

i have heard from people that the ad campaign was too toned down and people didnt go see it because they thought it was a real family movie. oops

I saw this awhile back and was prety entertained. It would've never crossed my mind to take my daughter to see it but it also wouldn't have scarred her for life or anything.
