I can relate to having some pangs for far away regional beers. No doubt that the PNW has some killers, the north east is no slouch either. As Spliney pointed out, Full Sail makes some excellent ones. Maine has a ttton of microbrews, but this is my perennial favorite. It is just tough to beat, all the time. |

I'm hooked on IPAs and have been buying them by the growler. Here are some of my current favorites: Alpine Pure Hoppiness Sculpin IPA from Ballast Point Pizza Port Wipeout IPA Green Flash West Coast IPA Alesmith IPA Stone IPA's pretty good, too i used to think the best thing about san diego was the weather. now i think it's the beer |

I'm normally not a huge IPA fan but I just had a Hop Devil, also brewed by Victory, and holy mother of fuck that is a nice beer. |

wednesday night it was sierra nevada and honker's ale last night it was burning river and mcewans scotch ale likewise tonight skully's has blackout stout plus a bunch more mcewans isn't that great it is 8% tho |
