don't usually like dogfish stuff. that sounds goood tho. i've been on corsendonk brown, guiness, some chimay reds and blues, sam smith oatmeal has been great lately. i was just thinking i'll go arrogant bastard tonite. but, i'm gonna look for that goose island oatmeal, too. yep, i'm off the the beerstore now! |

I think Illinois is as close as Fat Tire comes to Columbus. I used to LOVE Fat Tire, and I can't believe I'm typing this, but I think its lost a step. I don't know if the Fat Tire now just isn't as good as it used to be because they're producing so much more of it, or if everyone else just caught up and are now making better beer, but it's not nearly as tasty as it used to be. Nonetheless, New Belgium is still a cool worker friendly and environmentally conscious company. Their 1549 Black Ale is pretty awesome, I still have one bottle tucked in the back of my fridge from our last trip to Chicago. |
