if i may make a suggestion, it seems to me that you guys shouldn't look at yourselves as outsiders. you're just new people in an already-existing place. stay for as long as you want, post wherever you want, wherever your idea or comment is appropriate. it'll only take a little while to get used to.
i'm happy to see so many new folks suddenly around. welcome.

If you've got shows to hype, post in HYPE. If you want to talk about a particular Columbus band, venue or big-name concert that comes through, post in Oh Columbus. If you just want to vent about something, or chat about something non-music related, post a new topic in Whatever and Ever Amen.

It's not a complicated board, once you've lurked around for a while and get the hang of it.

And please do play nice. I started hanging out on columbusmusic.com's board about a year ago, and left after the avatars and the constant berating one received for expressing an opinion.

So, have fun, and watch what you do. We're a big family here, and each poster has the equivalent of about 100 big, burly brothers for protection.
