wait - we picked the one who can't win? I think both of them have similar chances, and both have similar platforms. Odds are if someone is not going to vote for "the black guy" they won't vote "for the woman" either - especially when they probably own several "Hitlery" shirts and other stupid crap.

What a waste of $$$. People should be able to protest peacefully, and it shouldn't be that hard to set it up so that happens.

By the way, I'm going to be at Burning Man (theme: "The American Dream") during the DNC, and a part of me would be somewhat amused if martial law were declared and I missed it. On the other hand, I'd be in the dessert with a bunch of whacked out survivalist people and artists who like to blow shit up and/or catch them on fire and who make giant steam-powered vehicles, so.... not a bad place to be, I guess, if the shit comes down.

Like Red Dawn, but as directed by Ken Russell.
