Picked up the latest Esquire (yeah, fancy ain't I?)- there's a section on American Music 2003.
Within that section is a "Road Map to Musical America"
They listed 50 places across America to buy, hear, and see great music.
The Newport and Magnolia Thunderpussy made the list as two of the fifty best places.
Just found that interested is all...

I imagine esquire.com may have this online once they update for this month's mag (a fancy way of saying I'd provide a link to support this, but it just isn't there yet).
