... cause it implies the wonder and sudden astonishment when one realizes that it's COLUMBUS that we're talking about. The other option just doesn't do it for me. Some recommended alternatives: "Oh. columbus." (the disaffected teen take) "Oh! Columbus!" (the "Oh! Calcutta!" homage) "Ol' Colum'us" (Zanesville old-school) "Oi! Columbus." (Buckeye Ska - ) |
