I gotta say, after reading this I've got a terrible feeling. It's not like things can be helped either - at least from the consumer perspective. I can't help that I like the White Stripes and Interpol and a crap load of bands that are on majors. It's not my fault that they're good.

Still, I feel REALLY good about the direction that MS and TS5 appear to be taking. Working together and marshalling their forces. I think that's why the Donewaiting community can be a really good force in the development of these bands. Lend our community clout (as limited as it may or may not be) to these guys and let them carry a torch of sorts.

Heck, my rant/ramble is less coherent than Albini's but I wanna go sell Columbus cd's in the streets! Let's not forget our grand plans and schemes for the scene here in Columbus. Also, if anybody comes into a large sum of money don't be afraid to go all Carnegie for a good cause - LOCAL ROCK! hehe
