I record these kinds of guys a lot. Usually involves a lot of getting beats off of a cell phone and their buddy taking pictures of them acting like they are rapping into the mic. Which is fine, cause I've gotta make a living. Never recorded this guy tho. For all I know he is great.

I've recorded my share of hip hop too... sometimes its actually fun... my problem with it is they always show up 2 hours late and only have enough to cover half their session.
