I'm managing a local band, they're a two-piece who do covers at places like Average Joe's and Cheeseburger in Paradise. I have reached out to tons of local places, through phone calls and emails, I've sent our website and FB page, both of which have all the info and music... but getting responses is rough. What do I do, just keep at it? Any tips/tricks to share? Any contact info to share? We're looking for places that would want entertainment for diners and drinkers looking for familiar music. Imagine patio-type acoustic music for drinkers. Any advice is appreciated!! |

You might try dropping press kits off at potential venues and hanging out at these places until you get to know the owners / bookers. |

Part of your problem is the time of year. A lot of the places around here that do that do it in the summer. I'd say try to figure out a few other acts that are doing what you are and see where they are playing. |
