Hello everybody, it's been a minute since I've been online here, but I just read this thing and thought this would be the perfect place to share it.
Chuck Klosterman writes on Bill Simmon's new website, Grantland.com. It's about sports and popular culture, and it's a pretty good read. The current article, however, blew my mind. He attempts to assign value ratings to musicians like they do to baseball players, which is hilarious in and of itself. Then, he suggested using the musician's numbers in conjunction with the rating of the band they were in. Standard listing of best bands ever follows, but, check out who's sitting at .55, right ahead of some super huge arena-rock bands: our very own Thomas Jefferson Slave Apartments.
Awesome.
