Woot! This is year 12 of me not having a band in ComFest. I am shooting for the Columbus record of applied but non-inclusions. Thus far my entire adult life is covered. |

Oh c'mon. I didn't even realize this event had bands until a couple of years ago and I've been attending and volunteering for like the past 20 years. I have to agree that the offramp is not looking like the lineups of old where you could camp out for the entire event and see mostly stellar bands back to back to back. I'm pretty certain that red rabbit and Ben Hamilton did not weigh in on this year's selections. Alas, I will still enjoy. Have a colossal weekend bender, hang out with a million friends, pass out on people's porches at dawn after afterhour parties, piss your pants (duh, you're a professional), meet your future girlfriend on Sunday and call off work on Monday. If this year's lineup doesn't shorten the beer lines, nothing will. |

Did you know that Ron House texts? I mean, he actually texts! Is anybody else surprised by this facebook tidbit trivia? I don't think he texted the comfest committee tho. Too bad.. The most important issue for me this year is: who's mc'ing? I heard Dan Dougan was doing it, but at this point, I think he's still looking for subs.. |
