This board was my introduction to & education about Columbus music when I moved to town. So while I'm with Duffy on the decision (rather cut it down than watch it wither), it's still sad.

I agree, for us outta-towners, the hype forum is very helpful to figure out if we need to plan a trip. It's good knowing in advance about local shows. Since I can't wander in to look at Used Kids' calender anymore.

well, if we're still able to log in and PM each other, i'm more than willing to be an info hub and organizer if someone wants to throw together another musician-centric columbus message board. as a concept, it's always been my favorite way of wasting time/being social on the 'nets. from cringe's old boards, to columbusmusic, to dw, back to columbusmusiconline and back to dw, i've always gotten as much of my news from columbus musician boards as i do from stewart, colbert AND a.o.t.s.

i really need a new one soon, and i'll put effort into it. there's enough technerds on here, and more than enough to get something up & runnin' . . .

but the clock's a-tickin' . . .

(and i managed to get ONE off on 4/9!
