Coming off the critically acclaimed release of Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Music), Massillon, OH MC Stalley is set to rock Skully’s Music Diner for a triumphant homecoming performance on Tuesday, April 26th.

Presented by Elevator Music and The Higher Plane, the show, featuring Milq City’s own, Stalley, (‘Slapp’, ‘Babblin’, and ‘Harsh Ave.’), will serve as an ode to the vibrant music scene Ohio - classic and old school, mixed with new school - that has cultivated over the last several years. Just think: the sounds of tomorrow meet the instrumentation and soul of yesteryear as we showcase the best artists Ohio has to offer.

The event will boast a line-up straight from the pages of the Who’s Who?: Ohio Hip-Hop. Stalley will be supported by the mastermind responsible for the production of Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Music), Rashad, along with his counterparts from Columbus super group, The 3rd (Nineteen Seventy Nine). Stalley and Rashad’s anthem ‘Slapp’ has received an overwhelming response over the radio an on television. The video can be seen on the MTV Networks as well as BET’s 106 & Park.

Once I heard Stalley’s ITM, I wanted people to see this great artist perform this great record performed live,” said Michael Krieger of The Higher Plane. ‘’It’s great to work with such an established music brand like Elevator Music. Together we put together an event to pay homage to the rich musical history of Ohio, while ensuring we maintain the new school edge by showcasing Ohio’s best artists.

Super-naturally gifted lyricist and songwriter, L.e For The Uncool (The Measure) and his MilkNSyrup counterpart, Fabrashay A. (The Art Show), will perform all their latest material, while Cleveland natives SoulKlap (Klapisms: Vol. 1: A Parallax) and James John (The Quan) will travel down I-71 to share their soulful classics in the state’s Capitol.
Columbus natives J. Osceola (The Brain Food Project) and the heralded J. Rawls (The Liquid Crystal Project II) will also lend their sounds for the night. To round out the evening’s all-star cast, the infamous Usual Suspects Crew will keep the people moving all night on the 1’s and 2’s.

“We really wanted to put together a lineup that allows people to see and hear the amazing depth of talent and meaningful music that Ohio is producing right now,” Krieger said. “This line-up is a direct reflection of that, and there was no better artist to get than Stalley to bring this all back together in the 614.
