ATTENTION ALL LOCAL BANDS! CD101 wants to give you your moment in the spotlight at CD101 Day 2011 on April 9th at the LC Pavilion. This is your chance to get a spot on this great bill along with Fitz and the Tantrums, Deluka, Young the Giant, Ra Ra Riot, and Civil Twilight! If you’re not in a band, but you know of a great local act that deserves their moment to shine, let them know what’s going on so they can sign up. Here's how it works:

· MAKE SURE your band is available to play a 30 minute set both on March 31st at Outland and on Saturday, April 9th for CD101 Day.

· Email a radio friendly song, a band photo, band website, and direct contact information to submissions@cd101.com NO LATER than 3pm on March 6th.

· From all entries, CD101 will pick 10 finalists and put up a survey in the Lounge for listeners to listen to and then vote on their favorite - so be sure to tell your friends to vote! Voting runs from March 7 through March 18th at 5pm.

· Winning band will be announced during the CD101 Morning Show on Monday, March 21st.

· If you win, get your set list together and get ready to rock at CD101 Day!

Man.....I'd really love to go to this. I think I heard on the radio tonight that it is sold out. If anyone wants to sell me 2 tickets, I'd be a very happy person. I'd love to check out Fits and the Tantrums.
