To everybody that came down to Oldfield's last night, a big thank you from us!! We had a great time playing and met a ton of new folks, including the great guys in Roller, they were very nice and are coming back around in June and asked us to play with them again then which we are looking forward to. I know, I for one am hurtin' abit today, a little too much of the drinky-drink but you'll have that from time to time and it is well worth it for the good time we had on a Tuesday night. The show last night was great. Why dont you guys have a record out? Why don't you play more shows so I can enjoy them? Is it that, maybe, just maybe, you hate me? All jokes aside, I know the answers to those questions, but I'm just trying to say that I really loved the set. I'll probably write something up on dw/OH! later today. The second band was harmless, not really my thing. Roller were okay. I think if they were an opener, I would have paid attention to the whole set. But the fact that they were headlining, it was a Tuesday, it was late, and I wasn't fully into them, it made me leave earlier. If they're gonna come back, I'd give them another shot. rob |
