In 20 years of drinking in Columbus I've never had a bar accidentally run my card. Can I get a refund? It's been a few weeks.

Some bars are better than others, I guess. George Jones would trash that place. They also told Eddie Spaghetti he wasn't getting his guarantee because he played a bunch of covers. Haha you gotta be fucking kidding me. Classy and completely ethical. That bar can suck it.

I also wouldn't anonymously call the fire marshall on other bars or book people I can't stand with names like Spaghetti and then give them shi$ for playing a set I wasn't expecting and go on a rant about not paying them. The staff has always been nothing but kind and accommodating but I don't think there's any fix for thee Carebear and that's what makes my recent experience fitting. I think there's a reason it hasn't happened anywhere else.

i'm just recalling the Espresso-yourself/comfest hubub of this past year. I think it was expressed back then that, although it was appropriate to criticize EY, it also seemed objectionable to carry on in a way that might affect their business, without allowing them to respond (which they did) - but i imagine this case isn't entirely different, in relevant respects.
