nobunny playing athens tonite. how was the columbus show? are they any good or just ridiculous novelty crap?

might not be a popular opinion, but i thought nobunny live wasn't anything special. take away the bunny heads & you've surely seen/heard better many times before.

(and i say this as someone who's had love visions since it came out, enjoys it, & was looking forward to the show)

Nobunny is a pop punk band. If it was 1999 they would be on tour opening for NOFX and Avail. Might as well be on Fat Wreck Chords.

I had a blast. Never seen 'em before though so I suppose being disappointed probably wasn't an option.

i'd even say no bunny is just pure pop. it's nothing to take seriously or overthink . . . fun enough stuff, but it's not gonna change your life or anything. the full band is a million times better than when he was singing along to the ipod -- that was some legitimately brutal stuff.

there was a pretty good crowd there. only caught a bit of savage pinkos. it had been a while since i'd seen day creeper -- they sounded good so i was glad i went.
