Well, for what it's worth I think this was a one time only show for the SOHUD Beach Boys. Those guys got together and learned a bunch of Beach Boys (hence the name) and Neil Young songs for one night. If they play more than a show a year, I would be surprised.

On a similar note there is a band called Here Comes the Mummies playing at the Newport some time soon. For about 10 seconds my heart raced as a picture of dudes in Mummies grab appeared but it's some shitty lite Funk band from Nashville. Now that band needs an ass kickin.

Hanging out and having parties and rocking out when Jenny Mae lived behind Bourbon Street was fun, but, living by the tracks years later on Wyandotte, hearing the trains all night and the neighbors' gargantuan dogs howling and barking. Phew! Let's just say I don't smoke crack anymore and I'm glad that I made it out of the beach alive. I was more of a bum than a boy, but, I see no reason why the two wouldn't coexist in beachly harmony. That's a pretty big beach you got there.
