I have an original 73 Tele Custom. It's beat all to hell but plays and sounds great! It's my favorite guitar! If my money situation wasn't so bad, I'd consider this. Somebody better do themselves a favor and buy this! Or better yet, BUY IT FOR ME!

Seriously, I'd buy it if I had the cash. That's a really beautiful guitar. I have a tele right now. It is a Squire, but my friend put in some Seymour Duncans in it and a Fender in the neck position. He also replaced a shit load of parts on it. It's pretty close to feeling and sounding like an authentic Tele. The intonation is perfect, and the playability is the same as any Tele I've ever played. Too be honest, I could not tell the difference. It has everything that I love about Tele's. You know me, I'm a Les Paul guy, but man, gimme a good Tele and I'm happier than a puppy with two peters.

You can wire the humbuckers out of phase with each other in those two humbucker, two volume knob rigs, Peter Green style. Would sound fantastic.
