So I know that this must have been asked already, but I'm putting out a CD DIY and I need full color copies for the artwork (booklet and tray). I'm looking at batches of around 100. The artwork is print-ready in pdf. Any recommendations and prices? Also, the artwork is rather offensive or at the least "disturbing".

if it's simple, and that low of a volume Kinko's will probably be your best bet. Maybe try laying more out on a larger format and cutting them yourself.

And I've pushed the envelope on what the Kinko's on Olentangy will print and they haven't turned me down yet.

I mean, unless you have kiddie porn on the cover or something.

Where is there a Kinkos on Olentangy? I was gonna use the campus location on High and 15th.

staples did 39 cents a page for the longest time. maybe they still do.

yes, the Kenny location is the best one as far as machines...but if you're printing amputee porn, or maybe giant posters of a vibrator, olentangy is where I have the best luck....the same red haired girl is always there so she knows the drill. She'll print anything I think as long as you don't use pictures of her.

Hit up Monks copy shop at 53 (i believe) E. Gay Street down town. They have fantastic personal service and do great work, and will hook you up with a deal if you're nice. Plus, locally owned and operated unlike fedex/kinkos. The guy gave me a free fax because all I had was a $20.

So thanks everyone for the help. You may not be very good musicians, but you are halfway decent people. For the record, I saw Gonzo's post about the red-haired lady at the Olentangy Kinkos and figured I'd try that. Since the campus Kinkos was on the way, I figured I'd try it first. The lady behind the counter did my repro right there on the spot and didn't even flinch at the artwork. I got two sets of 100 copies on regular stock, one-sided full color for 35 cents a copy. Then 8 cuts at $1.50 a cut. Total around $80 for artwork for 100 CDs. I did do some calling around and could not come close to beating that price. One place even wanted to charge me $5 "rip fee" even tho the artwork was in pdf.
