OH CRAP website

First of all, thanks so much to Fat Johnny who did a fantastic job of plugging the OH, CRAP (Volume 1) CD and release party (6.17.04 @ Oldfield's) last night on "Local Stuff" on 99.7. He played at least 4 of the bands that appear on the CD (I heard Miranda Sound, The Secret Sound of the NSA, Hex on Wheels, and The Bottoms).

Secondly, wanted to point out that there is now an "official" website for the OH, CRAP compilation series. For info about all the bands that appear on the first volume of the CD head to http://www.ohcrapcd.com.

The "origin" of the OH CRAP name can be found here, about 12 posts down. UnPossibles originally mentioned "OH CRAP" as the name of a possible "section" on the DW.com message board. Silo the Huskie said it would be a good name for a band, song, album. Interestingly, Silo the Huskie was the first band to ask to be on the OH CRAP CD and even said they'd send an unreleased song but they never did. We've got room for you on Volume 2 if you're interested Silo. Get in touch with one of us.

Ever think about making the songs and artwork from the CD downloadable from the website? We could save you the cost of CD-R's and make our own copies. Don't know what sort of agreements you've worked up with the bands--just an idea.
