To Box With Man tells stories in a whole new way. Combining a number of musical, cinematic and literary styles, they create full and detailed environments that literally drip with emotion. Spoken word, real-time video/environment manipulation, violin, bass, classical guitar, stripped down percussion, the most unlikely of pieces, combine to create a truly original and exciting new sight and sound.

Six Parts Seven - Ohio's finest instrumental outfit has worked to build stunning musical landscapes based wholly on the principles of melody and restraint. The band is careful to avoid the early grave of mediocrity that plagues so many instrumental bands, adding intricate and essential touches to their tri-guitar, drums and bass setup (a heartbreaking lapsteel, the understated backbone of a grand piano, subtle and tasteful samples).

Scotty Boombox - Focusing on oddly melodic electronic music and beat-focused trip-hop, Scotty Boombox's sound houses real instrumentation, vintage samples, modern beats, and plenty of goodness. His one-man show consisting of music, light and color has been described as "guitar driven hip-hop that'll melt even the most hardened indie-rocker's heart." (The Other Paper, Jan. '04)

Infinite Number of Sounds is an electro-rock/media-art performance group. Experimenting with musical forms from breakbeat to barbershop, INS throws down elaborate multimedia-style live performances, mixing their live drums and bass, guitar, synth and sampled elements with projected digital video imagery edited live to the beat.

One performer will be taking a camera Katie Couric style, at one point during the evening. It isn't going to be one of those sleek surgical cameras either. It will be projected live on a 10 foot rear projection screen. They are using the footage for "Columbus Art School Kids Gone Wild".
