Sunday evening. Last time these guys were in town they played at my house & everyone in the small crowd loved them . Early deal starting at 7pm with some light cookout action... A show as colorful as the "super rainbow" would imply. This week's Alive says: [Duncan's] album’s an exquisite combining of acoustic and electronic sounds, that while released under Duncan’s name, features a long list of players lending their talents to the record... Bell [Shedding]’s compositions bubble with quirky invention, his sounds morphing between tonal coloration, rhythmic permutations and ambient ornamentation. Pittsburgh’s Black Moth Super Rainbow...vocoderized vocals with oscillating keyboards and snappy rhythms. Pick it up to read the rest. Then do yourself a favor & hit BLD on Sunday. Locals Silencio & Rats Into Robots are filling out the bill & it looks to be a wonderful night. Everything should be over by midnight, so you can get your beauty rest for the work week ahead.
