The Damnells sounded great tonight. They have slowly but surely become a personal favorite. The hooks are subtle, but they grow on you with each listen. Those are the best kind, right? Other good news: CBC Nut Brown is back on tap at Little Bros. Can I get a fucking 'hell jeah' in this piece? |

And, Duffy, F.O.R. and I agreed that Blue October is actually not that distant a cousin of The Frames, much to my surprise, at least the first couple songs of their set had a certain Frames feel to them. |
